Birthdays are special. 
The date when you were born is meaningful.
It’s the date on the calendar that is marked for you.
So…You should feel good! It’s the day when you celebrate, when u are celebrated, everybody has good wishes for you and you get all sort of presents, and you are allowed to get stuff and to party. But you’re celebrating also that you are getting older. It’s a contrast somehow and it’s like celebrating New Year. A year has just past and you welcome a new one. The mix of feelings that you get on this days is interesting. I found out I am not the only one that doesn’t really like bdays… Cause I usually have high expectations and somehow on that day I allow myself to have even higher ones. Plus it’s that feeling that you should feel special. The people around you make it easier- only good words and wishes, even if they are coming on the virtual way. Here comes the first frustrating part. Somehow, u can’t get all your loved ones in one place. And the thoughts keep bothering u: “oh…how nice it would be to have him and her with me…”. But you just can’t, cause the world is too big to rotate only in your direction. It can be a very special day from beginning till the night falls down and u finish it with a hell of a party. But it can be a usual day of work for example, and maybe you’d wish smt else. It’s your day, so u should get it. If not, it frustrates you more than usual. And if it were a usual day ur expectations wouldn’t be big, so the level of frustration wouldn’t be high. With an optimistic mood I can assure you that the following weekend brings you the joy of a special day, cause u get to celebrate. And what’s with all those thoughts, that another year past. That you have accomplished smt or not. That you are or are not prepared for the next level… There’s another interesting thing about birthdays, and I guess it’s special because it really suits the person who’s birthday it is. The way you celebrate it. For some, it can be always the same – becomes a ritual – some good friends gather and have a nice day and night. For some, like me who loves to alternate it can be always different. For example my last 3 birthdays. None of them can be compared with the other one. 
Every year another continent, another state, other friends, other ways of celebrating, and always far away from home. But I can tell they were great! Cause they weren’t planed! Not by me for sure. So thx guys from the pool party in Florida – Ale –luv ya and miss ya!! And all of you who were there after though days of work And thx to my Atlantic City group – and that great cake from your bakery girls! Yammmy, I can still remember the gorgeous taste. And then the weekend in one of the greatest, fanciest place I’ve ever been to – haarah’s club zone. Definetly it was smt else. And this year it somehow came out that I got older in Budapest. I’ve never received so many virtual wishes from all over the world. Many many thx!!! And the party is yet to come:D
